The graduate School of Symbiotic Systems Science and Technology Fukushima University offers in Environmental Radioactivity major, which aims to enable students to elucidate the dynamics of anthropogenic and natural radionuclides in the environment and to engage in measurement, monitoring planning, control, prediction, and evaluation in a comprehensive manner over the medium to long term, and to develop researchers and specialists with practical skills who can contribute to problem solving and academic development in the fields of environmental conservation, prediction and evaluation, environmental restoration, decommissioning, interim storage, and environmental remediation, and who can apply their integrated and deepened knowledge to solving social problems.
