New position at EPA Ireland

Scientific Officer II (Level 4) Radiation Monitoring - Closing date: 4pm on 10th March 2022.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
The EPA currently has a vacancy in the Radiation Monitoring laboratory and involves the measurement of radioactivity in the environment and operation of EPA’s national radiation monitoring network. The successful candidate will work within a small high performing team of scientists and support staff.
The EPA is looking for candidates with experience in one of the following areas:

  • monitoring of radiation in the environment using radiometric techniques or automated instruments; or
  • radiological protection, or
  • emergency preparedness.

The EPA will create a panel from this competition for Scientific Officer II (Level 4) roles requiring radiological skillsets that may arise within the EPA.
